Walker Evans said, "Whether he is an artist or not, the photographer is a joyous sensualist, for the simple reason that the eye traffics in feelings, not in thoughts. That sums up my life's work. In June 2010, I "officially" halfway retired. Recently, I fully retired, and will be shooting for myself. A lot has changed in 36 years, but my love for my work and the many people I have photographed over the years have remained a constant. I now have more time and the technology to dig out the dusty negatives and slides for scanning - photos that have taunted me for years; photos of people waiting to be heard and seen; stories to be told. Many of my photos will be from my assignments in Third World countries, some have never been printed. I will be mixing recent photos taken out of my city and state, as well as abroad, so one day you may see a Third World photo, the next day you may see an antique car show. Check out my city blog and see what is happening in

I've moved
Two blogs were too much to keep up with. Since I am no longer focusing on my hometown, I am posting all photos on my old site. Visit me at Crisfield Blog, but don't let the title fool you. I will be posting both old and new photos, including photos, when I have time to scan the negatives, from my time as a photojournalist.
